Lua Villas - Playa Santa Teresa (Puntarenas)

Beautiful outdoor shower experience

We spent good time and did not want to leave there. Your location was unbeatable, close to the beach. In overall the room was good sized and fairly quiet and with decent sized fridge, awesome amenities and comfy beds.

The room was well-equipped and quiet, had a magnificent view over the garden. Kitchenette was a great addition.

My recent stay was fantastic, especially in Villa Mar. The spacious layout, surrounded by lush greenery, offered complete privacy and relaxation. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful shower in the well-designed bathroom and the convenient kitchen setup. Being just a short walk from the stunning Playa Hermosa made for perfect surfing sessions in the calm waves. The directions provided by the staff were super helpful.

Location near Lua Villas, amazing setting and staff and a grocery store and easily the best beach in the area. Well-equipped, beautiful unit with utensils and comfy beds, as example. Lots of goodies for breakfast.

An Oasis of Relaxation

Our villa, surrounded by lush greenery, was a peaceful escape. We loved the proximity to Playa Hermosa, just a five-minute stroll away, perfect for amazing sunsets.

A few hiccups with parking made us walk a bit more than expected. The twin mattresses combined for the king bed didn't provide the best sleeping experience.

Lua Villas offered a nice stay with beautifully decorated rooms. I loved the spaciousness of the Villa Mar, especially the upstairs loft where the air conditioning kept us comfortable. The lush surroundings provided a sense of privacy. The pool and yoga pavilion were highlights, just a short five-minute walk away. Surfing at Playa Hermosa was a dream. Getting to the villas requires navigating some rough roads, so I recommend a high-clearance vehicle. We faced a couple of power outages , inconvenient, especially since we had no phone signal to call for help. A contingency plan for such situations would improve the experience considerably. Otherwise, the stay was good!

I stayed for 2 nights in the Pacha Studio and it was a dream! The outdoor bathroom was such a cool feature, and the king bed was super comfy. I loved the fine pool and yoga area too! Plus, it was just a short walk to the beach where I spotted monkeys!

The spacious villas are beautifully landscaped for privacy.

I encountered severe power outages multiple times , which lasted for hours without any support from the staff. It was infuriating given the lack of phone signal to communicate any emergencies. Reaching Lua Villas was a nightmare due to the terrible roads. A high-clearance vehicle is necessary.

Great air conditioning and nice outdoor dining area, but parking was tricky and limited.

the villas are surrounded by beautiful tropical foliage. the shower was amazing but can't flush toilet paper.

The lush plant life and fine studio. We appreciated the short jungle walk to the beach and the lovely outdoor yoga area.

The hotel of choice in Playa Santa Teresa. Absolutely amazing venue with a great restaurant. - Incredibly nice, accommodating staff with smiling faces.
